Chesapeake Gold Corp. focuses on the exploration and development of precious metals projects in the Americas. The company is engaged in the discovery, acquisition, and development of gold-silver deposits, with its primary asset being the Metates project located in Durango State, Mexico, which contains one of the largest undeveloped gold-silver-zinc deposits in the region. Chesapeake also owns 74% of Gunpoint Exploration Ltd., which holds the Talapoosa gold project in Nevada.
