Rusoro Mining Ltd

Rusoro Mining Ltd. is a mining company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, focused on the exploration, development, and exploitation of alluvial and vein gold. The company received mining concessions in Venezuela and previously owned two producing gold mines, the Choco 10 mine and the Isidora mine, which were operated under joint venture agreements. Following nationalization by the Venezuelan government, Rusoro initiated arbitration proceedings against Venezuela for the unlawful expropriation of its investments, seeking compensation under the Bilateral Treaty for the Protection of Investments between Canada and Venezuela.
