Sylvania Platinum Limited is a producer of platinum group metals (PGMs), including platinum, palladium, and rhodium, as well as chrome. The company operates primarily through its Sylvania Dump Operations (SDO), which consists of six processing plants that focus on the retreatment of PGM-rich chrome tailings from the Bushveld Igneous Complex in South Africa. Sylvania generates revenue by processing these materials and also holds mining rights for additional PGM projects in the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex.
