Share repurchase announcement


RIT Capital Partners plc (the 'Company') announces the following information
relating to a share repurchase, pursuant to Listing Rule 12.4.6R and Disclosure
and Transparency Rule 5.5.1R:


1. Date of purchase:                                    27 June 2007

2. No. of equity shares purchased:                      180,000

3. Highest Purchase price:                              1030p per ordinary share
   Lowest Purchase price:                               1028p per ordinary share

4a. No. of equity shares purchased for cancellation     180,000

4b. No. of equity shares purchased to be held 
    as treasury shares:                                 NIL


The above purchase was made in accordance with the shareholders' authority
granted at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 13 July 2006.


The issued share capital of the Company following the cancellation of the shares
purchased will comprise 155,930,167 ordinary shares of £1 each.
