IMI PLC: Transaction in own shares
IMI PLC announces that on 21 May 2013 it purchased through J.P. Morgan Securities plc 70,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each, at an average price of 1358.7915 pence per share. The highest and lowest prices paid for these shares were 1368 pence per share and 1346 pence per share respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, IMI PLC holds 22,079,945 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 318,613,846.
