IMI PLC: Transaction in own shares
IMI PLC announces that on 18 October 2013 it purchased through J.P. Morgan Securities plc 70,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each, at an average price of 1524.1134 pence per share. The highest and lowest prices paid for these shares were 1535 pence per share and 1514 pence per share respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, IMI PLC holds 25,813,095 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 315,144,825.
