IMI PLC: Transaction in own shares
IMI PLC announces that on 11 December 2013 it purchased through J.P. Morgan Securities plc 120,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each, at an average price of 1449.4261 pence per share. The highest and lowest prices paid for these shares were 1458.5 pence per share and 1439 pence per share respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.
Following the above purchase, IMI PLC holds 30,243,095 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 310,730,339.
