Balfour Beatty plc ("the Company") received notice today from BNY Mellon Investment Management Services, on behalf of Newton Investment Management Ltd ("Newton"), that Newton now hold voting rights over 35,529,044 50p Ordinary Shares in the Company, all of which are held directly.  This represents 5.16% of the Company's total voting rights.
