RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 6^th April 2016, it transferred a participant in an employee share scheme 537 Ordinary Shares at a price of €17.67 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 84,368 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 824,009,866.
