INTERCEDE GROUP plc
("Intercede", or the "Group")
Appointment of Chief Sales Officer
Intercede, the leading specialist in digital identity, credential management and secure mobility, is pleased to announce that Helen Adams has joined the executive management team as the Group's Chief Sales Officer ("CSO").
Helen's previous role was with ARM Holdings plc ("ARM"), the world's leading semiconductor intellectual property supplier, where she was Vice President of Regional Sales for both Europe and Asia/Pacific, leading a global team which, under her leadership, delivered more than half of ARM's total revenue which was last reported as £1.3 billion. Helen has worked in technology sales and sales management for over 25 years and spent almost 11 years at ARM during which time she contributed materially to the development of the company's significant growth.
Helen will report directly to Richard Parris, Chairman and CEO of Intercede. Her mandate will be to manage the growing sales, marketing and business development activity at the Group across all principle product lines and services. Helen is specifically tasked with increasing the Group's engagement with its growing partner base. In addition, given her silicon industry background, Helen will also be responsible for leading the development and growth of its emerging Internet of Things business.
Commenting on the appointment, Richard Parris, Chairman and CEO of Intercede, said;
"To have recruited someone with Helen's sales leadership skills to Intercede is a testament to the potential we all see in our business. Her experience of creating revenue opportunities within complex ecosystems will be of critical importance to the Group as the demand for digital trust enablement becomes universal across enterprise IT, electronic commerce, mobile devices, payments and the Internet of Things. Underpinning this growth is exploitation of the inherent security capabilities of modern day silicon chips coupled with market knowledge of large OEMs and service providers. I am particularly pleased to be working with Helen given her commercial mastery and understanding of converged hardware and software channels to market."
Helen Adams added;
"I am delighted to have the opportunity to join Richard and his team at such an exciting period in Intercede's development. Throughout my career, I have seen how a solid business with enthusiastic people and exciting products can create massive opportunities for itself and for its partners. The evolution of embedded security and trust within all business and consumer devices is central to Intercede's vision and I hope to accelerate its market penetration and business success. I am looking forward to working again with a leading British company operating at the forefront of technological innovation."
