Newmark Security plc
("Newmark Security" or the "Company")
Strategic Partnership with Videcon
Newmark Security plc (AIM:NWT), a leading provider of electronic and physical security systems, is pleased to announce that Grosvenor Technology, its UK based security and attendance solutions provider, has entered into a new strategic alliance with Videcon Ltd, a leading distributer of products and services to professional security installers in the UK, for Grosvenor's new Sateon Advance product.
Grosvenor Technology will supply Videcon with a range of Access Control hardware and software products and services, on an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) basis. Videcon will market this range under their Concept-Pro brand as 'Concept Pro Access Control', and will carry the tagline "Powered by Grosvenor Technology". This variant range is based on Sateon Advance, a next generation range of hardware that utilises Grosvenor Technology's proven Sateon software platform to provide a seamless Access Control solution. The offering has been multi-award nominated since its launch in November 2016.
Grosvenor Technology has also developed a bespoke integration into the Videcon iPIMS video management system, which is unique to the OEM variant.
Marie-Claire Dwek, CEO of Newmark Security, said:
"Newmark's overarching strategy is to significantly increase recurring revenues and we have a number of key initiatives over the medium term to aid this. Grosvenor Technology has a long history of providing OEM products to strategic partners, and this arrangement with Videcon is a further step towards our goal of building long-term relationships and brand recognition, which are key steps as we transition to an 'as a service' provider."
Andy Rainforth, Managing Director at Grosvenor Technology, added:
"Videcon are unique in their approach to the UK security sector. Their professional, 'trade-only' approach, mirrors our own and yet their customer base has a different profile to Grosvenor Technology's and therefore offers us extended reach.
"Grosvenor foresaw the potential Sateon Advance would have to create a broader appeal outside our core markets some time ago, which is why we initiated discussions with Videcon in 2015 to ensure that we were able to capitalise upon the early success the general release version of Sateon Advance has enjoyed thus far."
"The deep integration we've developed into Videcon's iPIMS platform allows their customers to offer end users a truly seamless Video and Access solution with events from the Access Control system provided in real time in their Video Management System over a local network, or the internet. We are continuing to invest in our business development activities to investigate OEM opportunities of a similar nature in other geographies."
