Purchase of 2018 ZDP Shares
The Board of UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 4 September 2018 the Company purchased in the market 35,910 2018 ZDP Shares issued by its subsidiary, UIL Finance Limited, at a price of 159.5p per 2018 ZDP Share. The 2018 ZDP Shares, which are redeemable on 31 October 2018, will be held as an investment.
Following this purchase, UIL Limited has a holding of 823,564 2018 ZDP Shares and the total number of 2018 ZDP Shares in issue remains unchanged at 32,716,029.
