Imaging Biometrics® Update

Appointment of a South Korean Distributor

Imaging Biometrics, LLC ("IB") has appointed Korea Motion ISG ("Korea Motion") as its first distributor in South East Asia. Korean Motion will sell IB's full range of diagnostic imaging products in the areas of brain tumor detection using perfusion maps and the monitoring of brain tumor development. These products have been presented to several leading South Korean hospitals over the last few months, generating significant potential sales interest.

David Smith, CEO of Imaging Biometrics commented, "Our South Korean partner recently demonstrated their enthusiasm and competence in the medical software field through the introduction of StoneChecker securing the first commercial order for that product earlier this month. After trialing the full Imaging Biometrics range with several hospitals in recent months we are confident they will repeat this success with our products for detecting and monitoring brain tumors. This latest agreement marks the start of a concerted effort by management to develop global markets for Imaging Biometrics' products, building upon the success we are achieving in the United States."

ISO 13485:2016 Certification

Imaging Biometrics has received ISO 13485:2016 certification for Medical Device and Quality Management Systems. This ISO certification is required for regulatory purposes specific to the medical device industry.

ISO13485:2016 is an internationally recognised quality standard supporting the design, development, manufacture, and distribution of medical devices. To be certified, companies must demonstrate their ability to provide medical devices and services that consistently fulfill customer and regulatory requirements.

IB offers quantitative and highly-accurate solutions for a variety of neurological and other disorders. Over the years, IB has worked closely with leading scientists and clinicians to overcome limitations that affect conventional imaging. Now customisable and streamlined solutions can be seamlessly integrated in any sized healthcare system.

"This certification underscores our company's steadfast commitment of providing high-quality products to our clients," said IB's CEO, David Smith. "Maintaining a world-class quality management system is a key goal of IB, and our clients can feel confident that our quality management system provides a solid framework for how we conduct business,".
