RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 22^nd May 2019, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 4,896 Ordinary Shares at a price of €16.19 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £16.16 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 37,723,028 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 805,667,310.
