RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 7^th August 2019, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 35,588 Ordinary Shares at prices of €17.67 and €20.825 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £14.94 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 46,371,180 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 797,019,158.
