RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 2^nd October 2019, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 5,568 Ordinary Shares at prices between €16.19 and €20.825 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £16.16 and £24.51 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 49,765,990 Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 793,624,348.
