RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 16^th October 2019, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 12,108 Ordinary Shares at a price of €16.19 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £16.16 and £14.94 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 50,961,391 Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 792,428,947.
