RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 19^th December 2019, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 2,890 Ordinary Shares at prices between €17.67 and €27.86 per Ordinary Share and at prices of £20.11 and £20.83 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 10,016,189 Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 789,624,149.
