RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 15^th January 2020, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 4,854 Ordinary Shares at prices of €17.67 and €20.825 per Ordinary Share and a price of £14.94 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 10,747,066 Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 788,893,272.
