Completed acquisition by Breedon Group plc of certain assets of Cemex Investments Limited

Acceptance of Undertakings in Lieu of Reference

The CMA has today accepted undertakings in lieu of reference to Phase 2 given

by Breedon Group plc under section 73 of the Enterprise Act 2002. The completed acquisition by Breedon Group plc of certain assets of Cemex Investments Limited will therefore not be referred to Phase 2 and the undertakings which have been signed by Breedon Group plc will come into effect from this date.
