Catenae secures new pilot agreement for Covid-19 testing platform

Catenae Innovation PLC (AIM: CTEA), the AIM quoted provider of digital media and technology, is pleased to announce that a Fortune 500 American professional services and construction company (the "Client") listed on the New York Stock Exchange is piloting the Company's Covid-19 testing platform across certain areas of its U.K. division.

Upon completion of a Covid-19 test supplied and administered by BHA-Medical Limited, Catenae will securely process the Client's employees' test results on its GDPR-compliant data management platform. The Company will send the test results to each employee by text message and email, and will also provide the Client with details of its employees' results in a daily report in a GDPR-compliant manner.

All results will be fed into Public Health England's database for use by the NHS' Test and Trace service.

The pilot commenced on 28 January 2021 and will run for the next 12 weeks until the end of April 2021. Although the pilot is not expected to generate substantial revenues for the Company, it endorses the Company's Covid-19 testing proposition.

Guy Meyer, Chief Executive Officer of Catenae, said: "It is a significant milestone for Catenae to be providing its data management platform as part of a Covid-19 testing trial to a global corporation of this calibre. Businesses fully appreciate that even though vaccines are a significant part of managing this pandemic, regular testing of their workforces helps mitigate the risks of infectious outbreaks that interrupt their operations and weaken business resilience.

"Our platform helps them maintain operational effectiveness as best they can in the current circumstances through having up-to-date test result information about the Covid-19 health status of their working populations wherever they are.

"The construction industry remains a key target for the Company as it is one of the critical infrastructure sectors that remains operational during the government lockdown. We look forward to updating the market on further progress in due course."
