TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 8 February 2021 it transferred 309 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 1162 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,334,294 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,725,996 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
