TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 15 February 2021 it transferred 2,506 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 1197 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,331,788 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,728,502 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
