TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 12 April 2021 it transferred 463 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 1162 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,306,873 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,753,417 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
