TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 10 May 2021 it transferred 464 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 1162 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,305,978 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,754,312 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
