TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 14 June 2021 it transferred 2,222 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 1141 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,263,968 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,796,322 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
