Acceptance of Undertakings in Lieu of Reference

The CMA has today accepted undertakings in lieu of reference to Phase 2 given by Patagonia Bidco Limited under section 73 of the Enterprise Act 2002. The merger between certain businesses owned by Grafton Group Plc and Patagonia Bidco Limited will therefore not be referred to Phase 2 and the undertakings which have been signed by Patagonia Bidco Limited will come into effect from this date.

The text of this decision will be placed on the Competition and Markets Authority's at https://www.gov.uk/cma-cases as soon as is reasonably practical.
