Acceptance of Undertakings in Lieu of Reference

The CMA has today accepted undertakings in lieu of reference to Phase 2 given

by S&P Global Inc. and IHS Markit Ltd. under section 73 of the Enterprise Act 2002. The merger between S&P Global Inc. and IHS Markit Ltd. will therefore not be referred to Phase 2 and the undertakings which have been signed by S&P Global Inc. and IHS Markit Ltd. will come into effect from this date.

The text of this decision will be placed on the Competition and Markets Authority's website at https://www.gov.uk/cma-cases as soon as is reasonably practical.
