Acceptance of Undertakings in Lieu of Reference

CVS Group plc / Quality Pet Care Ltd (trading as The Vet)

The CMA has accepted undertakings in lieu of reference to Phase 2 given

by CVS under section 73 of the Enterprise Act 2002. The merger between

CVS and Quality Pet Care will therefore not be referred to Phase 2 and the undertakings which have been signed by 24 June 2022 will come into effect from this date.

The text of this decision will be placed on the Competition and Markets Authority's website at https://www.gov.uk/cma-cases as soon as is reasonably practical.
