Statement re PCPs 2022/3 and 2022/4

PUBLIC CONSULTATION PAPERS:
(1) THE OFFER TIMETABLE IN A COMPETITIVE SITUATION
(2) MISCELLANEOUS CODE AMENDMENTS

The Code Committee of the Takeover Panel has today published two public consultation papers, PCP 2022/3 (The offer timetable in a competitive situation) and PCP 2022/4 (Miscellaneous Code amendments).

The Code Committee invites comments on the amendments to the Code proposed in PCP 2022/3 and PCP 2022/4.  In each case, comments should reach the Code Committee by Friday, 13 January 2023 and should be sent in the manner set out at the beginning of the PCP.

The PCPs are available on the Current Consultations page of the Panel's website at www.thetakeoverpanel.org.uk.

In accordance with its Procedures for Amending the Takeover Code, once the Code Committee has completed its consideration of the responses to the PCPs, it will publish Response Statements setting out the final text of the amendments to the Code.
