Acceptance of Undertakings in Lieu of Reference

The CMA has today accepted undertakings in lieu of reference to Phase 2 given

by GIC (Realty) Private Limited, Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC, Roost JV LP, and Roost Bidco Limited (together, the Acquirers) under section 73 of the Enterprise Act 2002. The merger between GIC (Realty) Private Limited, Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC and Student Roost (via Roost Bidco Limited) will therefore not be referred to Phase 2 and the undertakings which have been signed by the Acquirers will come into effect from this date.

The text of this decision will be placed on the Competition and Markets Authority's website at https://www.gov.uk/cma-cases as soon as is reasonably practical.
