"The CMA has published the text of its decision on the anticipated acquisition by Whitby Seafoods Limited (via Kilkeel Seafoods Limited) of Kilhorne Bay Seafoods Limited, which found that the merger may be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition within a market or markets in the United Kingdom. Following competition concerns raised by the CMA, the Parties have abandoned the merger. This decision can be found on the Competition and Markets Authority's website at https://www.gov.uk/cma-cases."
