The Takeover Panel has made the following appointments: |

(a) |
Will Lawes, currently a member of the Panel designated to sit on the Code Committee, to be a Deputy Chair of the Panel and Chair of the Code Committee; |
|
(b) |
Ian Hart, Chairman of UK Investment Banking at UBS, to be a member of the Panel designated to sit on the Code Committee; and |
|
(c) |
James Palmer, a senior corporate and M&A partner at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, to be a member of the Panel designated to sit on the Code Committee. |
|
These appointments will be with effect from 1 May 2026. |
