Announcement of Initial Enforcement Order: Healthcare Ireland / Hutchinson Homes

On 2 June 2026, the CMA served an initial enforcement order (IEO) under section 72(2) of the Enterprise Act 2002 on Y3 Holdings Limited, Healthcare Ireland Holdings Limited, Healthcare Ireland Limited, HCI Bidco 2 Limited and Hutchinson Homes Limited in relation to the acquisition by Healthcare Ireland Limited of Hutchinson Homes Limited. The initial enforcement order takes place from 2 June 2026.

On 3 June 2026, the CMA has revoked and reissued the IEO imposed on 2 June 2026 in relation to the completed acquisition by Y3 Holdings Limited of Hutchinson Homes Limited.
