Chile-focused CleanTech Lithium (AIM:CTL) announce ‘transformational’ CEOL operating contract award

The AIM-listed green lithium explorer/developer CleanTech Lithium have been awarded a #CEOL or Operating Contract by the Chilean Government for the #LagunaVerde project. The CEOL awards is significant: only three other companies in #Chile have Government authorisation to produce lithium commercially, Rio Tinto, Albemarle and SQM. A CleanTech Lithium spokesperson explained: “A CEOL or Special Lithium Operating Contract is a contractual agreement between state and company covering all areas of project development from exploration, through production to project closure”. Donald Leggatt spoke to Ignacio Mehech, CEO at CleanTech Lithium, and asked him to explain the significance of the award, and to outline the financial pathway to production for the flagship Laguna Verde project.
