Marek Poszepczynski | International Biotechnology Trust Marek have been active in the biotech/pharma industry for over 15 years, mainly with business development, investments, private equity and VC financing. He currently Lead Portfolio Manager in a publicly listed Trust (International Biotechnology Trust www.ibtplc.com) fully dedicated towards biotech, pharma and life sciences in general. The AUM is in excess of 300m£ (~400m$). He co-founded three biotech companies, whereof one reached profitability and was divested 2015. Specialties: Have conducted several due-diligences, spin-offs, acquisitions and am experienced experienced working with limited resource biotechs and change management. He often support companies with business development activities, strategy positioning and prepare them for external exposure i.e. scrutiny from commercial pharmaceutical companies in a licensing situation. Rhys Davies | Invesco Bond Income Plus Rhys is a fund manager for the IFI Europe. He began his investment career with Invesco in 2002, moving to the fixed income team in 2003. He became a fund manager in 2014. He manages high yield credit portfolios. Rhys holds a BSc (Honours) in Management Science from the University of Manchester Management School. He is a CFA Charterholder. Thomas Moore | Aberdeen Equity Income Trust Thomas is a Senior Investment Director within the UK equities team. He began his career in 1998, joining Schroder Investment Management as Assistant Fund Manager, UK Equities. He joined the company in 2002 as an Investment Analyst. He then managed EMEA portfolios before moving to the UK equities team in 2006. As well as managing income strategies, Thomas specialises in analysing Financial Services companies. Thomas began managing the Aberdeen Equity Income Trust in November 2011.
