August was a broadly positive month for stock markets globally, but the Strait of Hormuz conflict and long-term worries over US and UK Government debt and Japanese Yen weakness spoiled the party mood going into September. However commodities analyst Gaius King, who conducts his own data-driven analysis for the consultancy Janus Analysis, has announced positive news of a new investment thematic. According to Janus, a Supercycle in basic commodities like iron ore, copper, zinc and aluminium is underway, driven by increasing demand from emerging 33° North/South countries, and will continue for many years. In an exclusive partnership with Ticker TV, Gaius gives a Webinar presentation developing his Commodities Supercycle theme, followed by a Q&A session with Donald Leggatt. Do subscribe to Ticker TV, as we have interviews with Tom Hickey, CEO at Kenmare Resources (LON:KMR) and Martin Rosser, CEO at Oriole Resources (LON:ORR) and many more coming shortly.
