(the "Company")
Board changes
The Company confirms the following changes to its board:
Chair
The Company announces the retirement of Mike Parton as Chairman and director. Mike is replaced as Chairman by Mike Darcey (who is already a director of the Company). Both changes are effective 01 February 2023.
Shuja Khan, Arqiva CEO comments: "I would like to thank Mike Parton for his advice, effort and guidance throughout his time on the board of Arqiva. Since his appointment in 2015 he has been instrumental in the simplification of the business, including the divestment of the mobile towers business in 2021. His skills have been particularly evident in steering the board through change following this divestment and the unprecedented events of the Covid pandemic. His wise counsel and support have been invaluable to me since joining the business. I wish him all the very best in retirement.
"I'd also like to congratulate Mike Darcey on his appointment to Chair. Mike has been a director since 2018, already knows the business very well and has an excellent understanding of the markets in which we operate. These are exciting times for Arqiva, with our Vision 2031 strategy in place, and I look forward to working with Mike on achieving our aims."
