NOTICE OF BOARD RESIGNATION

Independent non-executive director John Holland-Kaye has informed the Tideway Board of his intention to resign at the end of this financial year, 31 March 2023. Mr Holland-Kaye was first appointed in 2017.

Sir Neville Simms, Chair of Tideway, commented: "John has been an invaluable member of our Board, bringing his experience of infrastructure and operations to Tideway through our peak construction phase. As chair of one of our key committees he has provided critical oversight to our health, safety and wellbeing approach and championed our ambitions for environmental sustainability. I would like to thank him on behalf of the whole of the Tideway organisation."

The company will launch an exercise to recruit a new independent member later this year.

Notes:

Tideway is the company building the 25km Thames Tideway Tunnel. The new 'super sewer' will tackle sewage pollution in the tidal River Thames, cutting it by 95 per cent. Tunnelling work was completed in 2022 and the tunnel is due to be fully operational in 2025.
