Further Equity Commitment
South East Water is pleased to announce that it has raised a further £50 million equity commitment from its shareholders.
The equity commitment strengthens the Company’s liquidity position and supports the continued delivery of its company-wide transformation programme and investment programme for 2025-2030. The investment programme is designed to significantly enhance operational resilience and improve service for the 2.4 million customers the Company serves, including through upgrades to water treatment works, mains replacement and leakage reduction.
The shareholders have now provided total equity commitments of £250m to South East Water during AMP8 and this equity commitment demonstrates the shareholders’ ongoing support for the company with its financing plans.
