After 18 years with the organisation, the Chief Executive of Home Group, Mark Henderson, has shared his intention to retire. The Home Group Board are about to launch a recruitment campaign to find a new Chief Executive. The expectation is that Mark will work a significant notice period to enable a smooth and seamless transition to his successor. There is no immediate change to the Home Group Executive team or to its day-to-day leadership and governance arrangements.
Home Group is marking its 90-year anniversary this year, a milestone that reflects its long history of service to customers and communities. Mark remains fully in post and focused on leading the organisation while a successor is appointed, with an appointment expected to take place later this year.
