Airtel Africa plc reported revenue of $4,714m for the year ended 31 March 2022, a 20.6% increase, with profit after tax growing 82.0% to $755m and basic EPS at 16.8 cents (up 86.5%). The Board recommended a final dividend of 3 cents per share, making total FY'22 dividends 5 cents per share, as the customer base grew 8.7% to 128.4 million and the leverage ratio improved to 1.3x. In April 2022, a Nigerian subsidiary received final approval for a Payment Service Bank licence, and the Group repaid $505m of senior notes early in March 2022.
