Associated British Foods plc announced on 04 July 2023 that Non-Executive Director Ruth Cairnie will step down from its Board, effective 31 August 2023. This follows a 20 April 2023 announcement that she would not stand for re-election. Ms. Cairnie was appointed as a Non-Executive Director in May 2014.

Directorate Change - Resignation of Non-Executive Director
Further to the announcement on 20 April 2023 that Ruth Cairnie, Non-Executive Director, will not be standing for re-election at the next Annual General Meeting, Associated British Foods plc ('the Company') announces that Ruth will step down from the Board with effect from 31 August 2023.
Michael McLintock, Chairman of the Company, said:
