Aquila European Renewables plc (the "Company") today announces that the Company is about to enter a close period ahead of the publication of its Half-yearly results. Pursuant to the share buyback authority granted by shareholders of the Company on 14 June 2023 and further to the announcement of the Buyback Programme on 3 February 2023, the Company has appointed Numis Securities Limited to manage an irrevocable, non-discretionary share buyback programme until the date on which the Company's Half-yearly results are published. The Company and its directors have no power to invoke any changes to the programme and it is being done at the sole discretion of Numis Securities Limited.
