FTSE Russell announced on 25 February 2026 that, effective 02 March 2026, Ashtead Group (UK) will be deleted from the FTSE 100 index following a court sanctioning a scheme of arrangement for a change in holding company and transfer of listing category. Concurrently, Tritax Big Box REIT (UK) will be added to the FTSE 100 Index and deleted from the FTSE 250 Index. Additionally, Costain Group PLC (UK) will be added to the FTSE 250 Index and deleted from the FTSE SmallCap Index, with all changes effective from 02 March 2026.
