British & American Investment Trust PLC today announced the appointment of GRAVITA as its auditor for the financial year ending 31st December 2026, following a formal tender process led by the Audit Committee. This follows MHA Bakertilly ceasing to be the Company's auditor after their resignation in May, having completed an unqualified audit report for the year ended 31st December 2025. MHA Bakertilly confirmed no matters connected with their ceasing to hold office needed to be brought to attention under Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.

APPOINTMENT OF AUDITOR
British & American Investment Trust PLC (the "Company") today announces that following a formal and competitive tender process led by the Company's Audit Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of GRAVITA as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31st December 2026.
As previously announced, MHA Bakertilly ceased to be the Company's auditor following their resignation in May after their completion of an unqualified audit report for the year ended 31st December 2025. MHA Bakertilly has confirmed to the Company that there are no matters connected with its ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.
