On December 12, 2021, BHP Lonsdale Investments Pty Ltd and Wyloo Metals Pty Ltd ended discussions regarding Wyloo Metals' potential support for BHP Lonsdale's C$0.75 per share all-cash offer to acquire Noront Resources Ltd. Noront's Board of Directors continues to recommend this offer, which has a minimum tender requirement of more than 50% of outstanding Noront shares not controlled by BHP Lonsdale. The deadline for shareholders to accept the offer and tender their shares is January 14, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. (Toronto time).
