“However, there exists a material uncertainty in relation to the going concern basis adopted in the preparation of the financial statements, given the Directors expect that, for the recapitalisation transaction to be agreed, the Company will require the support of multiple stakeholders, including its creditors, Ofwat and water Government and public sector bodies, and that a holistic recapitalisation, implemented by way of a second Restructuring Plan (a restructuring plan under Part 26A of the Companies Act 2006), either within a period of 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements or shortly thereafter (RP2), will also require court sanction (noting that such decision to sanction RP2 may be subject to an appeal).”
“For the financial year ended 31 March 2026, the Directors consider a five-year period ending 31 March 2031 to be an appropriate period to assess the Company's prospects.”
