LIQUIDITY UPDATE
The Company is announcing today that (a) it has secured commitments for £800,000,000 of new liquidity pursuant to an agreement that will backstop, subject to satisfaction of customary conditions precedent, a future issuance by the Company of Class A Unwrapped Bonds under its £6,000,000,000 multicurrency guaranteed bond programme; and (b) the SW Group has extended the maturities in relation to certain inflation-linked hedging instruments. The SW Group therefore now has sufficient liquidity until June 2026. This additional liquidity is supplemental to the £900,000,000 planned Equity Raise that Southern Water announced on 18 February 2025.
