Liquidity Update

Southern Water is announcing today that it has agreed terms for £675,000,000 of new liquidity pursuant to an agreement that will underwrite, subject to satisfaction of customary conditions precedent, a future issuance by the Company of Class A Unwrapped Bonds under its £6,000,000,000 multicurrency guaranteed bond programme. This new liquidity is in addition to (a) the £800m of liquidity we announced on 1 April 2025 and (b) the £655,000,000 of committed equity offered to Southern Water by a consortium led by funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management ("MAM") which we announced on 1 July 2025 and which forms part of an intended £1,200,000,000 equity support package from MAM.
